AFM (SPM)

The Nano-R2™ AFM is a complete system that is optimized for engineers and researchers that require a robust and easy to use AFM system. With over 220 installations world wide the Nano-R2™ is proven for multi-user laboratories as well as an excellent AFM for educational purposes. Advanced features include a high performance scanner with xy and z calibration sensors, a motorized xy stage and a motorized zoom/focus video optical microscope. Samples are supported on a multilayer sample holder which makes it easy to image samples of varying sizes and shapes. Contact and non-contact scanning is supported. Excellent for verifying nano-scale products

Nanolithography

The NSCRIPTOR™ is NanoInk's turnkey system which allows scientists to perform sophisticated experiments using Dip Pen Nanolithography®. Now researchers can easily create complex nanoscale structures over large areas with NanoInk's 1 and 2 dimensional arrays of cantilevers. From a single plot to 55,000 ‘circuits’ drawn simultaneously. Precision stage with 1nm increment movement over 90µm area. Our system includes an environmental glovebox to control temperature and humidity. This is patented technology and currently not available elsewhere in Georgia.

In House Equipment
NNMC has equipment on our floor for member use. This equipment is intended to be used to develop the processes and specifications to manufacture nano based products.

Use of the equipment, subject to scheduling, is offered at no charge to our members. Nonmembers may gain access by contacting the center to make arrangements.

Quality Control

...is a Quality Inspection station with dual cameras and a triangulating laser.
The High Focus camera will deliver 3 micro per pixel images and the laser gives a 3D version down to 1 micro.

The work station is equipped with powerful software for measurement, pass/fail testing and analysis.

It is also equipped with a 2 axis stage for multiple part, automated inspections.
